Michael David Winery

featuring Michael David's Jeff Farthing

Join us for an intimate evening featuring Michael David Winery, hosted by Jeff Farthing.

Few families are as woven into Lodi as the Phillipses, who first put down roots here in 1865 and have farmed this ground for six generations since. Brothers Michael and David Phillips grew up among the vines, took the family from a roadside fruit stand to a tasting room, and in 2000 gave the winery their own names. What followed became Lodi legend: 7 Deadly Zins, a bold old-vine Zinfandel that carried the region's name across the country and helped redraw the map of what Lodi wine could be. Today the portfolio spans Freakshow, Earthquake, Inkblot, and a Cabernet born from grape juice sent to the International Space Station — proof that tradition and daring can share the same table.

This dinner pairs a multi-course menu with Michael David's acclaimed wines, each chosen to showcase the character of the Lodi AVA. Guiding the evening is Jeff Farthing, the winery's Director of Winemaking, who joined the team in 2009 and has shaped its distinctive style across every label since. Course by course, Jeff will share the family's story, the philosophy behind the wines, and what it means to keep pushing a great growing region forward while honoring the vines that built it.

Enjoy a five-course dinner with curated wine pairings. $130 per guest, plus 20% service charge and tax.
